{"id":2096,"date":"2011-04-06T21:32:02","date_gmt":"2011-04-07T02:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/?p=2096"},"modified":"2011-04-06T21:32:02","modified_gmt":"2011-04-07T02:32:02","slug":"one-way-or-another","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/?p=2096","title":{"rendered":"One way or another"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the last few weeks I&#8217;ve been planting warm weather plant seeds.\u00a0 I was watering the flats one evening and noticed a little green shoot peeking up at me from a place I wouldn&#8217;t have expected it.\u00a0 While planting the seeds, I had apparently dropped one into the tray where the water drains.\u00a0 Not willing to have its destiny stolen from it, the seed sprouted anyway.\u00a0 Isn&#8217;t that just like a seed to say to itself, &#8220;Okay, world.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve got one shot at this, and I intend to make the most of it.\u00a0 Here goes nuthin&#8217;!&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2195\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/IMG_8501.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2195\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2195\" title=\"Seed: Striving\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/IMG_8501-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/IMG_8501-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/IMG_8501-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/IMG_8501.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2195\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Will not be robbed of its destiny<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I rescued the seedling (like it needed my help, in a way; it was doing just fine on its own, at least for the time being), and planted it in a peat pot.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not even sure what sort of plant it is; I&#8217;m guessing a pepper.
