on they drive,<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1695.html\">Till<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/4.html\">a&#8217;<\/a> their weel-swall&#8217;d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1033.html\">kytes<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/135.html\">belyve<\/a><br \/>\nAre bent like drums;<br \/>\nThen auld Guidman, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1122.html\">maist<\/a> like to rive,<br \/>\nBethankit! hums.<\/p>\n<p>Is there that owre his French ragout<br \/>\nOr olio that wad <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1563.html\">staw<\/a> a sow,<br \/>\nOr fricassee <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1771.html\">wad<\/a> make her spew<br \/>\nWi&#8217; perfect sconner,<br \/>\nLooks down <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1859.html\">wi&#8217;<\/a> sneering, scornfu&#8217; view<br \/>\nOn <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertburns.org\/works\/glossary\/1445.html\">sic<\/a> a dinner?<\/p>\n<p>Poor devil!
