{"id":5421,"date":"2011-10-12T06:26:24","date_gmt":"2011-10-12T10:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/?p=5421"},"modified":"2011-10-12T12:59:08","modified_gmt":"2011-10-12T16:59:08","slug":"possible-names-for-the-apple-candy-corn-and-pretzel-combination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/?p=5421","title":{"rendered":"Possible Names for the Apple, Candy Corn and Pretzel Combination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently wrote about a unique <a title=\"Apples, Candy Corn and Pretzels\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thelifeliterary.com\/?p=5322\" target=\"_blank\">fall taste treat<\/a> I like to eat, apples, candy corn and pretzels.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been coming up with possible names\u00a0for that combo.\u00a0 Here is the list so far.\u00a0 Feel free to add some of your own.<\/p>\n<p>Fall Taste Treat<br \/>\nFall Delight<br \/>\nSalty Sweet<br \/>\nSweety Salt (<em>Go ahead!\u00a0 Reverse those words.<\/em>)<br \/>\nWanna Salty Apple Crunch, Sweety?<br \/>\nApple Crunch<br \/>\nApple Cream Crunch<br \/>\nCrunchy Apple Cream<br \/>\nPretzel Cream (<em>Doesn&#8217;t anybody else find candy corn creamy?<\/em>)<br \/>\nAutumn Crunch<br \/>\nAutumn Bite (<em>This is more singular, but the snack I&#8217;m trying to name is definitely plural.<\/em>)<br \/>\nAutumn Bites<br \/>\nBite &#8216;O Creamy Crunch<br \/>\nCreamy Apple Crunch<br \/>\nApPretzCorn (<em>APC?\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think this works.\u00a0 Corn alone refers to the yellow or white kernels that grow on stalks in fields<\/em>.)<!--more--><br \/>\nPretzapple Cream (<em>This sounds too much like Pineapple Cream.<\/em>)<br \/>\nWalk in the Forest<br \/>\nBobbing for Candy Corn<br \/>\nSweet Pebbles<br \/>\nAutumn Rocks (<em>I intended rocks as in the small hard things you find on the ground.\u00a0 Pretzels are hard and I thought&#8230;well&#8230;.\u00a0 Anyway, you could also use this with rocks as a verb, like, &#8220;Dude!\u00a0 Autumn Rocks!&#8221;<\/em>)<br \/>\nPretzappandy (<em>or alternatively, Pretzapandy, though I think the p should be doubled since the accent is on that syllable<\/em>.)<br \/>\nSaltSweet Fall Mix<br \/>\nJuicy Sweet Crunch<br \/>\nCreamy Sweet Crunch<br \/>\nDew Crunch Crumble (<em>Or do it not crumble?<\/em>)<br \/>\nAppretzsicle (<em>if I market the combo in Germany, I might use this one<\/em>)<br \/>\nPretzappsicle (<em>If only there was a way to put this culinary masterpiece on a stick.<\/em>)<br \/>\nFalling Leaves<br \/>\nAutumn Leaves (<em>No, wait&#8230;that&#8217;s a song.<\/em>)<br \/>\nFaling Leaf Crunch<br \/>\nAppily Ever After (<em>Who would buy it with a name like this?\u00a0 The world is jealous of those who can, and do, pun&#8230;<\/em>)<br \/>\nSweet Autumn Prayer <em>(Pretzels were originally a type of Lenten bread because the crossed portions of a pretzel echoed\u00a0a common attitude of prayer, with both arms crossed over the chest.\u00a0 The name Sweet Autumn Prayer evokes this obscure &#8211; but interesting &#8211; image.)<\/em><br \/>\nCreamy Salty-Sweet Season of Mist and Mellow Fruitfulness (<em>Apologies to John Keats<\/em>)<br \/>\nWhen the Candy&#8217;s on the Apple and the Crunch is in the Mouth (<em>Apologies to James Whitcomb Riley<\/em>)<br \/>\nHalloween Crunch<br \/>\nHalloween Cream<br \/>\nHalloween Bits<br \/>\nHalloween Sweet n&#8217; Salty (<em>Enough with the Halloween references.\u00a0 They&#8217;re going nowhere.\u00a0 Drop it, already.<\/em>)<br \/>\nSweet Jump in the Leaf Pile<br \/>\nSalty Sweet Pile of Leaves<br \/>\nGo Rake the Leaves, Young Man!
