There’s nothing to fear now and nobody who
\nI need to protect me from being run through.
\nI’ve food on my table, a wife in my bed,
\nThree wonderful children, so what do I dread?<\/p>\n
A big brooding something will swallow me whole?
\nA dark dusky valley will drain off my soul?
\nSome tough mean ole bullies with rumor, assail?
\nOr maybe it’s just that I think I have failed.<\/p>\n
So how do I fight my way out of this pit?
\nHow, to that brighter spot I’d like to get?
\nIt would be good to be done with this scene,
\nAvoiding this place, yes, for that I’d be keen.<\/p>\n
O.K., fine, I’ll jot a few words in a journal,
\nA brisk walk would help twice a day or diurnal,
\nBut most of all, be-yond these things, yes, a must,
\nIn God and myself I will fasten my trust.<\/p>\n
