We ate donuts our last day in Portland at a\u00a0famous shop called Voodoo Donuts.\u00a0 Their tasty products, cake and yeast goodies unusually and richly colored and flavored, labor under thick swaths of icing encrusted with\u00a0colorful sweet\u00a0cereals, mini candies and treats.\u00a0 They\u00a0ain’t health food.\u00a0 Along with one bountiful dozen of these beauties we picked up to share with our hosts, we procured a Maple and Bacon special, a straight yeast donut clothed in thick maple icing with two strips of well-done bacon firmly embedded on top.\u00a0 Colorfully sitting in large pink box, they were an apt ending to a sweet vacation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
